Chicken Jambalaya






1 Chicken Breast

1 Teaspoon of Garlic paste

1 Yellow Pepper

1 Teaspoon of Tabasco sause

Salami

1 Celery stick

1 Packet precooked rice

1 Small tin Chopped Tomatoes

1 Onion

1 Green Chilli

Half Pint Chicken stock

Seasoning




Peel and chop onion, Chop Celery, Deseed Pepper and Chop, Deseed & Chop Chilli (Wash hands).

Chop Chicken into Pieces.

Heat frying pan and add chicken & onions and fry untill brown, add chilli, pepper, garlic and fry until soft.

Stir in rice, tomatoes and chicken stock and simmer for 15 minutes.


Sausage and Bacon Casserole






2 Sausages

Small tin Baked Beans

1 Small Potato

2 Rashers Bacon

1/4 Onion


1 Small Carrot

Tomato




Peel and Chop the Onion roughly chop the Bacon and Sausages, Peel and Dice the Carrot and Potato, Chop the Tomato.

Add a little oil to a pan, cook the Onion until soft.

Add the Sausage and Bacon, fry until sausage is brown, stir in the Carrots, Potato and Chopped Tomatoes, add a little water if needed, cover and simmer for 15 minutes, until Sausage and Potatoes are cooked.

Add the Baked Beans and heat through for 4 - 5 minutes.

Taste and add salt and pepper if needed.


Stir Fry






Mushrooms

Spring Onion

Sachet of Chinese Sauce

Tomato

Red Pepper

Chicken or Tuna Portion

Noodles




Wash and finely chop vegatables and Chicken/Tuna.

With a bit of oil, fry Chicken/Tuna until brown, add all Vegatables and fry until soft.

Add Noodles and Sauce and Cook until hot.


Pork Chop






Potato

Cabbage

Onion

Pork Chop

Apple

Small bit of Butter (Marg or Oil)




Chop Potato into cubes, chop Onion & Cabbage.

Fry Chop & Potatoes in Small bit of Butter (Marg or Oil),until brown (about 5 minutes).

Add Apple and Onion, cook for 2 minutes.

Lift Chop and add Cabbage, replace Chop, cover, cook for 8 minutes.


Chicken Curry






Potato

1/4 Onion

Curry Powder (as per Pack Instructions)

Chicken portion

1 Tomato

Carrot

Packet of Cooked Rice

Water




Chop Onion, Tomato, Carrot & Potato.

Roughly Chop Chicken.

Fry Onion and Chicken in a Little oil until brown, then mix in Curry powder (As per Pack Instructions).

Add Tomato and a bit of water, then add Potato, Rice and Carrot.

Cover and Simmer until Potatoes are soft.


Spaghetti Bolognese






140g Mince

1/2 Pepper

Italian Seasoning

1/4 Onion

1 Small tin of Chopped Tomatoes

Small amount of Spaghetti

1Carrot

Water




Chop Onion, Carrot and Pepper.

Brown off Onion and Mince and drain off fat.

Add Onion, Pepper seasoning and Tomatoes and Water.

Break Spaghetti into small pieces and add to pan.

Simmer until Carrot and Spaghetti are soft.


Chicken Fajitas






1 Chicken Portion

1 Packet of Fajita mix

1 Packet of Tortilla

1 Pepper

1 Tomato

1/4 Onion

Water




Cut Chicken, Pepper, Onion thinly.

Chop Tomato into small chunks.

Fry Chicken in oil, add Onions, Pepper and Tomato.

Add Fajita mix and water, simmer until Chicken is cooked.


Chicken Pot Roast






1 Chicken portion

1 Potato

Chicken Stock Cube

1/4 Onion

Mushrooms

Water

1 Carrot

Seasoning




Cut Chicken into bite size pieces.

Peel and chop Potatoes, Onions, Carrots and Mushrooms.

Brown off Chicken in a bit of oil, then add Onions.

Add Potatoes, Carrots, Mushrooms and Stock cube and Water.

Simmer until Potatoes are soft and season to taste.


Sweets or Desert


Pancakes






1 Cup of plain flour

1/2 teaspoon baking Soda

1 Cup of Milk

1 Table spoon Oil

1 Egg

1 teaspoon of Bicarb




Add all to a container and mix until smooth.

Heat frying pan, add some of the batter and cook until top starts to set, then flip and cook for approx 1 minute.
